Clairewood is a place of quiet contemplation, where silence and solitude is measured by the harmony and tranquility of the Outeniqua mountains and surrounding indigenous forest which provides habitat to nearly 200 species of birds and wildlife such as monkeys, bushbuck, porcupine, bushpig and occasional otters.

Wilderness is known for its vast stretches of beach, lakes, lagoon and lush indigenous forests. The close proximity of George Airport (20km), Oudtshoorn, Mossel Bay, Sedgefield, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay makes it the ideal base from which to discover the Garden Route.

We have two well designed serviced self catering units each with two cozy bedrooms; king-size or twin (sleeps 4 per unit). Bath towels, cotton percale linen and guest soaps are provided.
