Riversdale is famous for its spectacular species of indigenous flora - referred to as "fynbos" - and is one of the largest exporters of fynbos in the Cape Province. Tours through fynbos farms are available on the Eden Country Route, and you can also witness this floral kingdom on various hiking trails, which take you through forests and lead to sparkling mountain pools, waterfalls and Khoi rock drawings which tell of ancient myths.
Riversdale boasts a 9 hole, 18 tee golf course, which has been rated one of the most scenic in South Africa. The intimate friendly atmosphere of this country club is one of the attractions when you lodge at Eden BnB, where the reservations of tee-off times can be arranged
