Hout Bay Manor is a historical, architectural landmark situated in the serene seaside fishing village of Hout Bay, Cape Town. Renowned for its 5 star boutique accommodation, the manor provides luxurious individually designed rooms, bespoke fine dining at signature restaurant Pure, and the ultimate pampering experience at our Wellness Suite Inzolo. Due to its location, guests can explore the scenic Cape Peninsula area with ease and visit the famous Chapman’s Peak, Noordhoek, Camps Bay, Table Mountain, Robben Island and the ever popular V & A Waterfront. The 5-star Hout Bay Manor located in the picturesque fishing village of Hout Bay, is renowned as one of Cape Town’s most graceful landmarks and was reopened on 26 October 2007 after an extensive 18 month refurbishment. A listed historical building, built in 1871; it has been gracefully restored to its former elegance.

ROOMS:
Each of our 19 distinctive rooms has been individually designed with beautifully appointed en-suite bathrooms, many with free-standing baths, wooden floors and bespoke decorative chandeliers.

‘The Sotho’, for instance, features double rooms with an exotic private garden terrace and a refreshing alfresco shower. Bask in the mountain views from upstairs in ‘The Xhosa’, beautifully crafted double rooms, or ‘The Zulu’, with its picturesque views of the exquisite gardens and sparkling pool.

SUITE:
‘The Sangoma’ offers the unique convenience of two utterly luxurious rooms, adjacent to each other, with free-standing baths and large balconies overlooking the tranquil pool and indigenous garden area. They also make the perfect family apartment complete with their own private entrance.

Aside from the original décor style and feel we’ve added a host of modern conveniences to make your stay as enjoyable as possible including plasma screen satellite televisions, telephones, safes and air conditioning, I-Pod Stations as well as internet and wireless connection.

On the ground floor you will discover the opulent open plan lounge and bar area featuring a beautifully crafted designer marble bar, overhung by a fabulously ornately jewelled chandelier.

THE RESTAURANT:
From breakfast through to dinner our in-house restaurant, a separate entity from the fine dining restaurant Pure, offers sumptuous breakfasts, a choice of light lunches and extensive gourmet dinners.

Dining at Hout Bay Manor is always a uniquely rewarding experience, whether you are a culinary aficionado or you simply enjoy good food.

Our extensive menu of dishes, including à la carte lunches, can be enjoyed either in the restaurant or alfresco in the serenity of the terrace or garden.

Throughout the day you can enjoy an assortment of healthy salads, sandwiches and light snacks freshly prepared by our Executive Chef using only the finest ingredients.

Breakfast is served from 07:30 – 10:30.
