A Whale of a time is an owner managed self catering accommodation establishment in picturesque Fish Hoek, with breathtaking 180 degree, panoramic views of False Bay, established in 1996. We offer guests a variety of accommodation in Fish Hoek with our luxurious & tastefully decorated self-contained apartments, each with spectacular sea views. The following is available - a Stone Cottage, Penthouse, Garden Apartment and single bedroom Apartments.
These accommodate from 2 to 6 guests and have fully equipped kitchenettes, bathrooms en suite, TV, M-Net and satellite connection. The delightful salt-water residents’ pool is surrounded by wooden decking where guests recline on sun lounges and bask in the sunshine, enjoying the exquisite view of the bay.

Perfectly positioned to view and listen to the whales that visit every year, we are a 5 minute stroll away from the tranquil and family friendly Fish Hoek beach with its soft, powdery white beach sand and warm water. Fish Hoek beach is one of the most beautiful swimming beaches in South Africa.
Enjoy an un-obstructed view of the whales during whale season while relaxing in our luxurious 'home away from home' environment. You will be able to listen to the soothing sounds of the whales from the balcony!
