SaltyCrax Backpackers Cape Town, South Africa is ideal for the watersports enthusiast. We are situated close to the beautiful white beaches of Blouberg and the famous Kite Beach. With a good supply of wind and waves and a variety of sailing locations, either for the eager beginner or the dedicated sailor, there is something for everyone.
4 star accommodation in Table View. The area is safe and easily accessible. We have a variety of different rooms and all the facilities a budget traveller would need.

Saltycrax Double en suite:
Large spacious rooms with wooden floors and built in cupboards with lots of luggage space. Private bath, shower and toilet. Clean linen and towels are provided. The room also includes a safe, heater, fan, fridge and TV.
Saltycrax Private Room:
Rooms have either only a double bed or a double bed and a bunk. All rooms are private and include clean linen, towels, cupboards, a heater, a fan and a fridge.
Saltycrax Dorm Room:
All bunks have new ortho-care mattresses and clean linen. The dorm is mixed and has 2 en suite bathrooms and personal lockers.
Facilities:
We have all the facilities any traveller would need from an internet café to a jacuzzi to relax those travelling muscles. Whether you want a lazy day or a busy one, it’s all here.
Saltycrax Internet facilities:
Fast and reliable ADSL internet is permanently available in our Café. Contact home and catch up on your blog. The cost is R8 for half an hour.
Saltycrax Jacuzzi:
This 9 women, 1 man jacuzzi is ideal to relax those muscles after an adventurous day. It is heated at night on request and reaches temperatures of up to 40°C.
Saltycrax Kitchen:
Complementary tea and coffee is always available in the fully equipped kitchen.
Saltycrax TV lounge:
A flat screen TV with satellite access and a video machine - what more do you need for those stay-in days?
Saltycrax Bonfire Area:
Sit around the large bonfire area, swop travel tales and cook your food the traditional South African way: on the braai.
Saltycrax Zen Garden:
Grab a book and relax under the palm trees next to the pond.
Laundry:
A washing and tumble drier is available to use for a nominal fee or we will do it for you (hooray!).
