3 Star, A.A recommended and set in a lovely established garden with extensive lawns. Time to relax and enjoy the country atmosphere. The accommodation consists of 5 self-catering/B&B cottages on a small small farm where we look after rescued animals. Each unit offers excellent, well-appointed accommodation with heaters, TV, electric blankets, bathroom en-suite & Braai facilities. There is a lounge/dining area and kitchenette in all the self catering cottages. A lovely dinning room has been created for breakfast/teas. A Guest Lounge (The Chicken Shack) with a private bar, where you can socialise, watch your favorite programmes on T.V. or maybe sit and read plus a games room for the more active, has been built for you to enjoy. We hope that you find your soul in the tranquil surrounds of this lovely garden and take time to relax and enjoy the country atmosphere.

With this purpose in mind, we have placed tables and benches together with a number of braais throughout the garden for you to take advantage of. There are many activities to suite all ages in the area. Walks in the Drakensberg mountains, visits to bushman paintings and the Hlatikhulu Crane and Wetland Sanctuary, horse trails through a private game reserve, canoe trips, canopy tours and the Midlands Meander with restaurants, fishing, horse riding, golf, bowls and tennis nearby.
Cottage - Gymnogene:
Large open-plan bedroom/lounge/dining area (carpeted) with fully tiled en-suite bathroom. 2nd Bedroom opens off of the main area and leads through to small, neatly fitted and tiled kitchen. All rooms equipped with Heaters and Electric Blankets. Tea/coffee making facilities as well as full self catering.
Cottage - Starling:
Family Cottage, sleeps 4, with Double Bed and Bunk Beds. Fully fitted kitchen. Bathroom with shower.
Cottage - Shrike:
Twin Bed cottage, with full kitchen facilities. Bathroom with bath & shower. View of the mountains and Giants Castle from the stoep area.
Cottage - Crane:
A two bedroomed family cottage. Double bed in one room and twin beds in the other. Kitchen facilities. Separate Bath & Shower.
B&B Cottage - Sunbird:
One bedroom cottage with Double Bed. Shower & Toilet.
