Fiddlewood Guest Farm is situated just minutes from Howick and the N3, yet it is the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy complete peace and tranquillity in what must be one of the best gardens in the Midlands. The main house has two spacious, tastefully decorated, en suite rooms, both with the little extras that ensure your comfort. Guests are also welcome to relax in our reading room, watch TV (yes, we do have DSTV), or socialise in our main lounge which boasts a cosy fire for those cooler evenings. Nearby, Garden Cottage combines spacious accommodation with old world charm and is ideally situated for those guests who appreciate gardens alternatively, nestled in a sheltered, shady spot just out of sight are our pretty brick or thatched lakeside cottages, all with individual décor, offering our guests luxurious accommodation in a stunning location.

Should you wish to enjoy the privacy of our cottages but like the idea of being pampered, Pete and Jenni are happy to provide breakfast or dinner on request. Our bigger lake is stocked with bass and we do have a couple of rods if you don’t have your own or you may wish to enjoy our sparkling, salt-chlorinated pool. There again, you could simply choose to stroll around the grounds, watching the large variety of birds and wildlife that regularly frequent our farm. All the attractions of the Midlands Meander are on our doorstep, including a wide range of restaurants, craft outlets and various activities including golf, treetop canopy tours and horse riding, while the coast and the mountains are little over an hour’s drive away. Pete and Jenni have many years of experience in the hospitality industry having travelled widely and run an award-winning hotel, so you can be assured of a warm Welcome and a memorable stay in our little piece of heaven.
B & B Room: In main house, 1 room, with twin or king size bed.En suite with shower, radio alarm, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities and comfortable seating. Use of our Guest TV lounge.
Garden Cottage is situated in our exquisite garden and comprises a spacious bedroom with king size bed ( or the option of two singles), fully equipped kitchen / dining room, bathroom with shower, very large lounge with bed settee and a single bed in an adjoining annexe.TV and Log Fire.
Lakeside and Bergview Cottages, situated overlooking a dam with lovely country views to the Drakensburg. Both cottages, though different design & decor, comprise 2 bedrooms, 1 with queen size bed and en suite with bath, the other with two single beds and en suite with shower. (Could be changed to king size bed.) There is a very large lounge with fully equipped kitchen and dining area and Log Fire.
2 thatched cottages each with individual décor and comprising a lounge, log fire, kitchen area with breakfast bar, bathroom with shower and a bedroom with queen size bed. Outside is your own private patio.
The other Cottage has a King size bed could be two singles.
