Calmswood Guest House is situated in the beautiful leafy village of Kloof, right next to the well-known Makaranga Garden Lodge, and is thus conveniently positioned to access Kloof, Gillitts, and Hillcrest.

For the businessman the ease of access to the M13 means it is only a 10 minute drive to Pinetown, New Germany, and the Westmead and Mahogany Ridge Industrial Parks, and a 25 minute drive to central Durban.

For your convenience the many shopping centres in Kloof and Hillcrest are within easy reach to provide all the services you require. The large regional shopping centre, The Pavilion, is only 10 minutes down the M13.

The numerous quality pubs and restaurants in the area offer a wide variety of food options, with our local being The Green Man at the local landmark, Tina's Hotel.

The accommodation offered is four individually decorated double rooms with en-suite bathrooms and built-in cupboards.

Makaranga Room: Upstairs, with a view over the garden, the room has twin beds and en-suite bathroom (shower only)

Umdoni Room: This upstairs room has a queen bed with en-suite bathroom (shower only)

Cussonia Room: Downstairs, with the French doors opening out onto the garden giving direct access to the pool. The room has a queen bed with a full en-suite bathroom.

Strelitzia Room: Also downstairs, the room has twin beds and a full en-suite bathroom.

All rooms have:

Please note that smoking is not allowed in the rooms or dining area.

A full breakfast is served in the dining area from 6-30am to 9-00am.
